These 20 lessons continue to exercise the skills learned in the previous
lessons while adding new sounds. Lessons 101–120 teach the following
new skills and concepts:
- Short vowel sounds.
- Short vowel rule.
- Recognizing when a vowel sound is short, long, or silent in a word.
- No vowel rule (when Y says /i/ as in my).
- Rhyming sounds.
- Matching sentences to pictures for comprehension.
- Writing sentences from prompts.
- Reading Stellar Stories 13–18.
