Category Cards are 898 picture cards (with a descriptive word for each card), organized into 22 categories, packaged in three sets. Category Cards are used almost daily. My cards lasted all 17 years in the classroom. I considered them one of my most valuable teaching aids. Category Cards assist young children in naming and classifying objects in their world and are extremely helpful with ESL students. Category Cards are also a valuable visual aid when used in conjunction with other subjects, such as science or social studies.
